How it works

ThrowGRID is four parts that fit together in one predictable way. Learn the cube and the connector and you already understand the whole system.

01

Pick your cube size

One cube, one throw. Standard 1A for full-size yo-yos, oversized 4A for offstring, or the kendama box. All three share the same outer footprint logic, so they line up in one grid — a mixed collection does not need a second system.

Join them with connectors

Corner connectors bridge the corners of neighbouring cubes and pull them into alignment. Once connected the stack is rigid and behaves as one object. They also form the rounded outer corner you see on a finished grid.

Use the right connector for the job

Three geometries cover every position. Singles finish an outside corner, doubles join two cubes along an edge, and four-corner pieces sit at the interior junctions where four cubes meet. Multi-cube packs already contain the right mix.

Grow in any direction

Add cubes sideways, upward, or both. A 2x2 becomes a 2x3 becomes a 3x3 without replacing a single part you already own — the grid you have is always a corner of the grid you are heading towards.

None of these are on sale. They are the next things we want to make, and they will all fit cubes you buy today.

01

Acrylic front covers

Laser-cut acrylic fronts to seal a cube against dust while keeping the throw fully visible. Acrylic rather than printed plastic, for real optical clarity.

02

LED lighting

Backlit panels to wash each cube from behind, daisy-chained across a grid from a single supply. Prototyped, not production-ready.

03

Ikea board mounts

Brackets to hang a grid straight onto an Ikea pegboard, so a wall build needs no drilling and no wall damage.
