ThrowGRID is a modular display system for yo-yos. Stackable cubes in three sizes — standard 1A, oversized 4A and kendama — joined by corner connectors into a grid of any shape you like.

Not every throw is the same size
A 4A offstring yo-yo will not fit a box built for a 1A, and a kendama fits neither. So there are three cube sizes — and because the outer footprints are set to align, you can mix all three in one wall without breaking the grid.
The 4A box works to a clean ratio against the 1A: four 4A cubes span the same length as five 1A cubes, so the rows still finish flush.
Worth knowing before you order: depth is what the 1A cube runs out of first, so the dimension that matters is your yo-yo's width, not its diameter. Throws much over 60 mm wide may not sit well — go oversized 4A for those, or ask us.

Acrylic front covers
Laser-cut acrylic fronts to seal a cube against dust while keeping the throw fully visible. Acrylic rather than printed plastic, for real optical clarity.

LED lighting
Backlit panels to wash each cube from behind, daisy-chained across a grid from a single supply. Prototyped, not production-ready.

Ikea board mounts
Brackets to hang a grid straight onto an Ikea pegboard, so a wall build needs no drilling and no wall damage.

A hobby project, honestly
ThrowGRID is not a company yet. It is a hobby product, designed and printed in PETG on our own machines, in batches, in the room where the design work happens. Every part is checked by hand and packed in plain recyclable card.
Which means: please be patient with us. Orders take days rather than hours, the range is small and growing slowly, and occasionally we will get something wrong. We would rather tell you that up front than pretend to be a warehouse.
What you get in exchange is a real person answering your email, parts made to fit the throws you actually own, and a system that will still be compatible with itself in five years.
